Dalahusgruppen is a growing company within the ByggPartner Group, specializing in industrial timber construction. We work on projects ranging from small buildings to large-scale developments, where our strength lies in the combination of in-house production and assembly. We are now looking for you to take a central role in the bidding and costing phase alongside our project managers.

About the Role

As the Cost Controller at Dalahusgruppen, you will play a key role in our operations. You will be involved early in the process, responsible for analyzing requests, preparing cost estimates, and creating competitive and well-thought-out offers. In our business, commercial viability, project management, and assembly are closely linked. This means you do more than just crunch numbers; you ensure that projects are realistic to execute. You will work closely with both project management and the assembly organization, with the goal of always delivering projects with the right quality, on time, and at the right cost. You will become a natural link between the customer, production, and execution, and a vital part of Dalahusgruppen's continued sustainable and profitable growth.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work broadly within business and costing, with tasks including but not limited to:

• Prepare cost estimates and quotations for our projects
• Analyze tender documents and create the right business approach
• Work with pricing, quantity take-offs, and costing assumptions
• Conduct risk and profitability assessments in early stages
• Participate in dialogue with customers and support technical and economic questions
• Contribute to bidding strategy together with the project organization
• Ensure a smooth handover from costing to project execution
• Follow up on project outcomes and contribute to continuous improvements
• A key part of the role is also having an understanding of assembly and production, where our projects are driven forward on-site by our teams, focusing on quality, safety, and efficient progress.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have experience from the construction industry and have worked with costing, projects, or similar roles where business and execution are interconnected. You have a good understanding of the construction process as a whole and feel confident working with both numbers and people. Perhaps you have a background as a project manager, contracting engineer, or estimator and want to take greater responsibility in the business. Experience of timber construction or prefabricated building systems is an advantage, as this is a central part of our operations.

We believe you are a structured and analytical person with a strong business drive. You have the ability to see the big picture while being meticulous with details and calculations. You thrive in a role where you collaborate with multiple functions and easily build trust, both internally and externally. You are solution-oriented, curious, and driven by contributing to sustainable business.

About Dalahusgruppen

Dalahusgruppen is a company engaged in industrial timber construction. Our timber factory is located in Linghed, approximately 35 km northeast of Falun. Production of prefabricated timber components started in Linghed as early as 1938. Today, we have 55 employees, a turnover of 1.2 billion SEK, and are one of Sweden's leading suppliers of prefabricated timber products. The ownership structure has varied over the years; today, the company is 100% owned by ByggpartnerGruppen AB. In the factory, we produce a flexible range of products, with common items including walls, floor elements, roof elements, roof trusses, etc. Production also includes processing and further refinement of solid wood products such as rib elements, glued laminated timber, CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber), and LVL. Dalahus's prefabricated products cover deliveries ranging from small buildings to larger projects such as multi-family housing, offices, and public buildings.
