We are now looking for you who are interested in working as a Cost Estimator with a placement in Borlänge.

About Us

Our support function, consisting of estimators and project engineers, currently comprises 2 departments working in close collaboration. The Estimating Department consists of 8 employees located in Sandviken, Sundsvall, Borlänge, Mora, and Avesta. At the Borlänge office, estimators, project engineers, the department manager, and colleagues from other business areas within the company work together. We are a friendly group that works together, supports each other, and maintains good communication. We serve both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will perform cost estimates using our estimation software, Wikells, send RFQs (Requests for Quotation) to our suppliers, and monitor the market for new inquiries from customers and clients. You will work on investigations regarding materials and services related to the projects you are estimating. The role also includes tasks such as tenders and calculation quantities.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a completed upper secondary education in electrical engineering.
• Has experience from electrical work, such as electrician or lead installer.
• Has good computer skills and handles the Office suite well, primarily Word and Excel.
• Has good verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Has a valid B-driver's license.

Merits:

• Previous experience as a project manager or estimator, preferably within the electrical industry.
• Good knowledge of contract law and/or business acumen through experience or education.
• Experience with estimation software, such as Wikells, etc.
