About the Department

The Water and Wastewater (VA) department is divided into two units: Collaboration and Utility Networks, and Operations and Maintenance. In total, we are 37 people, of whom 25 employees are in the Operations and Maintenance unit, which manages and operates the VA facilities. In total, we manage approximately 120 facilities spread across the municipality.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager with us, you work on leading projects to secure the municipality's water and wastewater supply. Society's growth, the expansion of VA pipelines, devices, and facilities is happening at a high pace, and we need reinforcement! The projects will be led by you, from preliminary studies and planning to implementation and closure. You are responsible for project management, planning, budget, scheduling, documentation, and monitoring the construction and quality of the facilities. You will have access to the department's specialists and the business's expertise; your main task will be to lead the projects.

We offer you the chance to work with a unique and varied assignment as a Project Manager. In the Collaboration and Utility Networks unit, you will work with a team of 11 employees, some of whom are Project Managers. We are now looking for a new colleague to expand the project group. We are looking for someone with experience in driving projects and who works in a structured, clear, and efficient manner. As a Project Manager, you are clear in your communication style. You take responsibility for deliveries and leadership, are meticulous, receptive, and want to work together in a team. We believe that as a person, you are curious, driven, and want to work on developing your technical knowledge.

Requirements and Merits

• Experience as a Project Manager or, according to the employer, other relevant education or experience.
• Swedish language skills: Since the work involves a large part of administrative and technical documentation, understanding, and communication, it is important that you can express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• IT skills: Good IT skills are required.

Meritorious: Experience in/within the construction industry, Water and Wastewater Engineer, Construction Engineer, Project Management, Base-P & Base-U, experience with ProjectPortal Avima, project management experience with economic responsibility, contract law, construction industry regulations, and knowledge of LOU (the Act on Public Procurement).
