Do you want to work on some of Sweden's most critical infrastructure projects?

Geomechanics Sweden AB is looking for an experienced and engaged Senior Road Project Engineer for a long-term consultancy assignment with one of Sweden's leading public clients in transport infrastructure.

As a consultant at Geomechanics, you will become part of a professional project organization where you work closely with project managers, technical specialists, and contractors in complex road and construction projects. The role offers varied and developmental work with significant personal responsibility and good opportunities to contribute to the success of the projects.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Support the project manager in the planning and execution of road and construction projects.
• Be responsible for project administration and coordination.
• Work with schedules, economics, and project follow-up.
• Identify and monitor project risks.
• Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Prepare decision support materials, reports, and other project documentation.
• Ensure that the project is carried out according to current requirements, routines, and governing documents.
• Contribute to effective collaboration between the various actors in the project.

We are looking for someone who has

Qualifications

• An academic degree in engineering, construction, civil engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience as a project engineer, contracting engineer, project coordinator, or project economist within road or construction projects.
• Documented experience in:
• Scheduling
• Risk management
• Economic control
• Category B driver's license.
• Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.

Merits

• Experience from Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration) or another public client.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
• APV certification according to TDOK 2018:0371, step 2.2.
• Experience with project management systems and Office 365.
