Full-Time Cemetery Caretaker – Horticultural Education & Leadership Experience

We are looking for a dedicated Cemetery Caretaker to work full-time (100%). To thrive in this role, you should have a relevant horticultural or gardening education and preferably experience in leadership.
Employment type: Permanent position with a 6-month probationary period.
You will be working at several cemeteries in our area, specifically Rogsta, Hälsingtuna, Idenors, as well as Jakob's Church and Sofiedal cemeteries.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Snow clearing, both manually and with machinery
- Digging graves using an excavator
- Digging urn graves
- Mechanical sanding
- Issuance of urns
- Assisting in traditional burials of coffins and urns
- Contact and service for mourners
- Availability for civil funerals
- Work leadership
- Gardening, planning, and purchasing
- Tree pruning
