About the role

As a driver with us, you work with transporting cars between our facilities, customers, and partners. You often become the person representing Bilsmidigt at delivery or pickup, which means that service, responsibility, and punctuality are very important.

The work is varied and suits you who are self-initiating, flexible, and solution-oriented. Unexpected situations may arise during drives, which is why we value people who can think for themselves, solve problems, and keep the customer updated in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

As a driver, you will among other things work with:

• Planning and booking the week's drives in consultation with our team
• Transporting cars between our various facilities
• Delivering cars to customers throughout Sweden
• Picking up cars from customers, suppliers, and partners
• Updating customers during the journey and planning arrival times
• Testing customers' cars according to test protocols upon pickup
• Documenting any deviations, damages, or defects
• Solving unexpected problems that may arise during drives

The transports usually take place by car, but sometimes travel by bus, train, or plane is also involved.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who are confident behind the wheel, have a positive attitude, and like to take responsibility. You need to be punctual, structured, and able to handle customer contact in a professional manner.

To fit the role, you need:

• A manual B driver's license
• Good driving experience
• Access to your own car to get to our logistics center
• Ability to take at least 4 drives per week
• Be flexible and available for drives at inconvenient working hours
• Be able to work evenings, nights, and early mornings during longer drives
• Have a clean criminal record (no convictions)
• Be punctual, structured, and responsible
• Have a service-oriented and positive attitude towards customers
• Use the mobile phone in a responsible, traffic-safe, and legal manner while driving.

It is an advantage if you have experience in car transport, customer contact, logistics, route planning, or similar work.

Employment and compensation

The position starts as an hourly employment with a wage of 130 SEK per hour including holiday pay.

Our logistics center is located away from public transport, which means that access to your own car is a requirement.
