The Rehabilitation Unit at Sollefteå Hospital consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, counselors, speech therapists, dietitians, and rehabilitation assistants. Here, you will have the opportunity to help develop new working methods and routines for the mobile rehabilitation team. The work group on our unit has a great atmosphere, and you will have several experienced colleagues to discuss with.

We are now looking for an occupational therapist for the Occupational Therapy Department in Sollefteå. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date according to agreement.

Responsibilities

The occupational therapist at Sollefteå Hospital works with:

• Patient work both on the ward and in outpatient services.
• Assessment and rehabilitation within day rehabilitation as well as hand rehabilitation.
• Interprofessional teamwork with other professional categories.
• Assessment of cognition and activity capacity in inpatients.
• Promoting activity capacity and prescribing assistive devices as compensatory measures.
• Rehabilitation of patients of various ages with newly acquired illness or injury, primarily neurological conditions, within day rehab.
• Training and assessment of activity and cognitive capacity.
• Opportunity to participate in a team for stroke home rehabilitation.
• You will also have the opportunity to help develop a new home rehab team aligned with "Nära Vård" (Close Care).

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed occupational therapist.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

The following qualifications are meritorious for the position

• Have relevant work experience within the field.
• Have previously worked in a hospital setting.
• Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing.
