RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of caretaker, you will perform regular maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment in the municipality's properties, including nursing homes, schools, sports halls, sports facilities, ice rinks, and swimming facilities.

You will work with monitoring and maintaining technical systems. You are responsible for the maintenance of outdoor areas, including mowing, gardening, snow removal, and ice treatment. You handle fault reports from residents and municipal employees, prioritizing and resolving problems quickly and efficiently.

You follow safety regulations and environmental rules to create a safe and sustainable work environment.

The duties include, among other things, maintenance of mechanical equipment in ice rinks, sports facilities, and swimming facilities.

Lifeguard duties as well as evening and weekend work are included.

QUALIFICATIONS

If you have experience working with ice machines, tractors, and machines for outdoor area maintenance, this is an advantage.

As a person, you are service-oriented, responsible, and self-reliant, as there is solo work involved. We work with various operations, which makes teamwork and flexibility important traits. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You must pass a swimming/lifeguard test as the work also includes lifeguard duties.

We would like you to have at least 3 years of experience in property maintenance or similar tasks.

You should have good technical understanding and practical problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.

You have good communication skills and a service-oriented attitude, with a good and professional approach towards both residents and colleagues.

Driver's License: Category B driver's license is required.

Additional qualifications/certifications are advantageous.

Ability to communicate in Swedish, both written and spoken.

An extract from the Police Authority's criminal record is a statutory requirement.

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
