We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant with a course in emergency care, or with experience that the employer assesses as equivalent. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are flexible, self-reliant, and service-oriented. You have the ability to put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation.
What you will work with
Ward 63 has 12 care beds with the specialties of Hematology and Palliative Care.
As a nursing assistant on Ward 63, you work with basic nursing care for two highly specialized patient groups with varying needs for care and nursing. You have a supportive role in promoting the quality of life for both patients and relatives.
The Hematology Unit at Sunderby Hospital has a county assignment focusing on the investigation and treatment of both hematological deficiency diseases and advanced treatment of malignant blood diseases, as well as care after stem cell transplantation.
Palliative care is the care given when a cure is no longer possible. Palliative patients are often troubled by complex symptoms and have a need for specialized palliative care, where we strive to provide optimal nursing and support.
We work in teams with doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, hospital dental care, the hospital church, and a palliative advisory team.
