Åkerblads Gästgiveri, Hotel & Spa is a family-owned hotel business located in the beautiful Tällberg, Dalarna. The estate has been in the Åkerblad family since the 1400s, and today the 19th to 22nd generations of the Åkerblad family work together with a strong team of 40 employees to provide guests with a memorable experience. Experiences are our keyword; this is what we convey to our guests from the moment they check in until they long to return to the sparkling waters of Lake Siljan. Our goal is to deliver a unique product, which is reflected not only in the historic premises but also in the hotel's 73 guest rooms, all personally furnished and unique. Our restaurant works with locally produced ingredients and personal flavors, for both conference guests and weekend visitors. The hotel is currently classified as a four-star hotel and is focused on continuous development where quality and service are the key words.

Lunch Cook, 1 Full-time Position, Permanent

Your Responsibilities...

As a cook, you will be part of a strong team.

You master the tasks of the cold kitchen as well as all duties in the hot kitchen.

Since the Åkerblads brand stands for quality, we prepare everything from breads and stocks to mayonnaise and ice creams, from raw ingredients to finished products. Cooking from scratch is a given for you as it is for us.

We are looking for a person who primarily works during the day, serving our incredibly popular lunches.

Working hours are during the day, both on weekdays and weekends.

In addition to your professional skills, pride in your profession and good hygiene knowledge are essential.

Competency Profile...

You have at least a couple of years of experience in a similar position, along with restaurant training. Alternatively, long work experience that corresponds to the above.

Your most important qualities are dominated by good teamwork skills, being an important part of a cohesive team. As well as being able to work quickly and prioritize to meet Åkerblads' quality requirements.

We place great importance on personal chemistry, professional pride, and your interest in keeping up with the industry's and our constant development.

Good knowledge and experience of traditional Swedish cuisine is a requirement.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with immediate start. The most important thing for us is that we find the right employee, and therefore we are flexible regarding the start date.
