We are now looking for a Maintenance Technician at NKT in Karlskrona, where we develop and manufacture high-voltage cables that enable the transition to renewable energy. As a Maintenance Technician, you will become an important part of our experienced team at the cable factory on Verkö. Here, you will work with mechanical maintenance in a modern and automated production environment, focusing on safe operations, availability, and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance. The work includes both planned interventions and actions during operational disruptions. You collaborate daily with colleagues in maintenance and production and contribute to identifying areas for improvement in our machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with planned, preventive, and corrective mechanical maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components in production equipment
• Inspect machines and identify areas for improvement
• Contribute to high availability in production

The position is located at NKT's cable factory in Karlskrona, and you will report to the Manager Maintenance Mechanic. The work is conducted in a 5-shift system with varying working hours, including days, nights, and weekends.

You are a positive and collaborative person with a genuine interest in technology. You thrive in a practical role close to production and appreciate structure, safety, and collaboration in daily work. You maintain a calm and methodical approach even under high workload. As a person, you contribute to a positive work climate and are happy to share your knowledge.

Your Qualifications

• Educated in maintenance, workshop technology, or equivalent
• Several years of experience in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting in a production environment
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
