We are looking for a cleaner for a fixed-term appointment during the 2026/2027 school year in the eastern area of Ånge Municipality. We are a food and cleaning department with approximately 50 employees. The Cleaning Department's assignment includes cleaning in preschools, schools, sports halls, offices, and in premises where municipal operations are located. We are now looking for an employee who will join the work team in the eastern area and, together with colleagues, ensure that the municipality's premises are clean and well-maintained, thereby contributing to creating safe and pleasant indoor environments.

Your main responsibilities are to perform daily cleaning, periodic cleaning, and floor care using both manual methods and cleaning machines. Washing and cleaning of cleaning materials and equipment is included in the assignment, as well as window cleaning during the season. You order and replenish consumables and report defects as needed. Your assignment includes following routines and guidelines and working to achieve the goals of the cleaning department. As an employee, you are expected to actively contribute to a good working environment and well-being at the workplace.

Since the work is located in different places in the eastern area, a B driver's license and access to a private car are required for the position.

• To work as a cleaner with us, you need to have a high school diploma.
• Knowledge of various cleaning methods.
• Knowledge of ergonomics.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, so that you can communicate with colleagues, students, and staff who have their workplace in the municipality's premises.
• Computer literacy.

• Vocational certificate as a cleaner, such as PRYL or SRY.
• More than three months of work as a cleaner in school or preschool operations.

• Working hours are scheduled daytime, weekdays.
• The work is physically demanding with periods of high tempo.
• Since you will be working with minors, you need to be able to show us an extract from the criminal record register.
