About the role
We are currently recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, an Economic Assistant for their operations in Gothenburg. This position is ideal for you who have recently graduated or are at the beginning of your career and wish to develop within the field of economics in a role that combines administration, analysis, and financial tasks.

You will become part of an engaged team where you will have the opportunity to learn the different aspects of financial work and build valuable experience for the future.

Responsibilities
The tasks may vary, but include among other things:

• Handling supplier and customer invoices
• Registration and control of financial documentation
• Support with ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Administrative tasks related to the finance department
• Handling payments and invoice flows
• Archiving and document management

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:

• Has an education in economics, accounting, or a similar field
• Is meticulous and structured in your approach to work
• Has good computer skills and basic knowledge of Excel
• Is responsible and has an interest in financial processes
• Thrives working both independently and in a team

Previous work experience is not a requirement – we value your willingness to learn, develop, and take responsibility.

Merits

• Internship or summer job within economics or administration
• Experience with financial systems through studies or internship
• Knowledge within bookkeeping and financial flows
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
