to apply for the job
We are now looking for engaged and flexible employees for our service team at the Women's Clinic. Currently, the team consists of 12 colleagues who together contribute to a well-functioning and secure care environment for our patients.
As part of the service team, you will work with varied tasks and be an important part of the daily operations. The role requires you to be flexible, proactive, and thrive in a dynamic work environment where the pace is often high and the workload can be intense.
Our operations run 24/7, all year round, which means working hours vary. You will work according to a schedule covering mornings, days, evenings, and nights – both weekdays and weekends.
About the Job
As an employee in the service team, you play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and functional care environment for both patients and staff. The work is varied and includes among other things:
- Daily cleaning of the ward to ensure a high hygiene standard
- Kitchen work, where you perform lighter tasks and are responsible for preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner to patients
- Material handling, meaning you restock and ensure that necessary materials are easily accessible for healthcare staff
- Final cleaning of care areas after patients are discharged, so that the room can be quickly prepared for the next patient
- Cleaning after deliveries, where you restore the room to a clean and orderly state
The job requires attention to detail, responsibility, and the ability to work efficiently – often at a high pace.
To succeed in the role of service worker, you need to:
- Be social and helpful, and work well with others.
- Be able to adapt to changing situations through quick adjustments.
- Be responsible and organized.
Since the workplace is a hospital, rapid changes can occur, so it is important that you can adapt to what is happening. In your work, you have many contacts, so it is important that you can communicate in Swedish, as well as follow written and oral work instructions.
You need to be able to handle IT systems/tablets without problems. Good physical fitness is required to be able to walk and stand for the entire workday, lift heavy objects, or perform repetitive tasks. We would appreciate it if you had experience in the restaurant industry, meals, or cleaning. Experience in service or similar tasks is an advantage.
The Recruitment Process
In this process, we do not require a cover letter; instead, we want you to answer a number of questions when you register your application. Please answer in detail as we make our first selection based on your answers. We appreciate that you formulate yourself in a way that shows your personal way of writing and communicating. After the last application day, we will contact the candidates who are suitable for a first interview. Interviews will be held in weeks 27-29.
We use tests as part of the selection process. For questions, you are welcome to contact the recruiting manager, Rebecca Svensson.
Our Offer
We know service and understand the importance of doing our job right. We offer you a developing workplace where you receive introduction, training, and good employment conditions. Here, you have the chance to perform meaningful work for society. Together with competent and inspiring colleagues, you are part of a constantly developing operation. As an employee, you have influence over your work situation, feel secure, and are involved.
We look forward to your application
