Physics is looking for a Coordinating Cleaner (Full-time)

Do you want to be part of building and developing our new internal cleaning organization?

Physics is now seeking a coordinating cleaner who wants to join from the start and contribute to creating structure, quality, and long-term sustainability in our new setup.

This role is for you if you enjoy practical daily work but also like taking extra responsibility for planning, onboarding, and quality assurance.

About the role

As a coordinating cleaner, you will primarily work operationally with cleaning at our three facilities in Gothenburg. The majority of the work consists of daily cleaning and maintenance.

In addition, you will have a minor coordinating responsibility within the team (approximately 2–3 hours per week). In this part of the role, you contribute to creating structure, quality, and continuity in the daily work.

You will, among other things:

• support simpler schedule planning together with the person responsible for operations and maintenance
• introduce new employees to routines and working methods
• perform simple quality checks
• contribute improvement suggestions regarding routines, frequency, and priorities
• maintain ongoing contact with the reception and on-site managers

The position is full-time (100%) with a rolling schedule. The work is primarily scheduled on weekdays, but early mornings, evenings, as well as occasional weekends and public holidays may occur. Overtime pay is provided according to the collective agreement.

Responsibilities

In addition to the coordinating responsibility, the role includes standard cleaning tasks:

• cleaning of toilets, showers, changing rooms, and sauna
• cleaning of gym areas and floors
• emptying trash
• wiping down machines and contact surfaces
• reporting defects, deficiencies, and maintenance needs
• simple practical tasks as needed

We are looking for someone who

• has experience in professional cleaning
• works carefully, structured, and with high quality
• has a strong sense of responsibility and is reliable
• has an eye for detail and order
• enjoys taking a bit extra responsibility in daily life
• can work at a high pace without compromising quality
• can communicate in Swedish or English

Experience from gyms, changing rooms, or similar environments is advantageous. A B-driver's license is advantageous but not a requirement.
