Physics is looking for two full-time cleaners

Do you want to help build our new internal cleaning organization?

Physics is bringing cleaning services in-house and is looking for two dedicated and experienced cleaners who want to be part of the team from the start. At our club, cleaning is a central part of operations – clean, safe, and welcoming facilities are essential for the well-being of our members and staff.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for quality, and wants to be a key part of a team that makes a difference every day.

About the position

As a cleaner at Physics, you will be responsible for the daily cleaning and maintenance of our three training facilities in Gothenburg. You will work according to a rotating schedule, moving between the facilities based on operational needs.

• Full-time (100%)
• Permanent position with an initial six-month probationary period
• Start date: October 1st
• The work is primarily scheduled on weekdays, but early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends and public holidays may be required.
• Shift allowance (OB) according to collective agreement.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning toilets, showers, changing rooms, and saunas
• Cleaning gym areas, floors, and exercise equipment
• Emptying trash bins and handling waste
• Wiping down machines and other contact surfaces
• Ensuring our facilities are clean, welcoming, and presentable
• Reporting defects, issues, and maintenance needs
• Performing other practical tasks as needed

The role also includes periodic deep-cleaning and major maintenance cleaning tasks.

We are looking for someone who

• has experience in professional cleaning
• works meticulously and has an eye for detail
• is responsible, reliable, and quality-conscious
• enjoys physical work and is active for most of the workday
• can work efficiently without compromising on quality
• can communicate in Swedish or English

Experience cleaning in gyms, changing rooms, or similar environments is a plus. A B-class driver's license is also an advantage but not a requirement.

• Salary according to collective agreement. The salary range is 25,000–27,500 SEK per month, depending on experience and competence
