Do you want to work with modern technology, advanced machinery, and practical problem-solving? At Epiroc, you will work close to technological development and contribute to a more sustainable mining industry.
Join us as we accelerate the transformation!
Become part of our team
At Epiroc, we know that everything starts with people – it is our employees' competence and initiative that make the difference in our production.
Within the Surface Division in Örebro, you will become part of an engaged team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and development are at the center. We are in an exciting phase of technological development towards battery-electric solutions, with a strong focus on electrification and digitalization.
We are now looking for experienced employees for several important roles in the production of surface rigs
Assembly Technician
As an assembly technician, you work with assembling technically advanced surface drill rigs, either in station assembly or within a flow for special orders. The work involves mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical/electronics, reading drawings, and troubleshooting. You work both independently and in teams and actively contribute to continuous improvements.
For station assembly, requirements include precision, quality mindset, and responsibility, where you ensure that each step is performed correctly and that the machine meets the set requirements before the next step in the process.
In the special order flow, you solve problems independently and adapt the assembly work based on each unique customer order. Here, a deep technical holistic understanding is valuable, including reading drawings and schematics as well as troubleshooting.
Functional Tester
As a functional tester, you play a central role in ensuring that our rigs meet high requirements for function, performance, and quality before delivery. You work with structured testing of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control, and safety systems, as well as analyzing and troubleshooting deviations. You are responsible for documenting results and ensuring that identified defects are rectified according to our quality processes.
In the role, you collaborate closely with several functions within the business, such as design and development, service, quality, and planning, and contribute to developing working methods while ensuring high quality and stable delivery over time.
Your profile
We are looking for you with several years of experience from technically advanced environments, for example within the automotive industry, special machines, energy, or automation. You have built up stable technical competence, for example as a mechanic, service technician, or technical assembler, and have a good understanding of how different parts interact in complex machines.
You are responsible, structured, and quality-conscious, with a natural focus on safety. You thrive in a changing environment and share our values – collaboration, engagement, and innovation – with the desire to develop both working methods and technology.
You have:
- Documented assembly experience within mechanics, hydraulics, and/or electrical
- Good habit of reading and interpreting drawings and technical documentation
- Experience in troubleshooting and quality work
- Good computer skills and understanding of technical systems
- Good knowledge of Swedish or English, both in speech and writing
Meritorious:
- Experience within electrification or battery technology
- Knowledge within control systems/automation
- Experience working with heavy mobile machines or rigs
