Junior Maintenance Engineer at E.ON

Are you a newly graduated maintenance engineer, or do you have a few years of experience from industry, energy, or process operations? Do you want to develop in a role where you can combine technology, planning, and business development in a socially vital industry? We are now looking for a Junior Maintenance Engineer for an exciting assignment at E.ON! Please note the short application deadline.

About the role

As a Junior Maintenance Engineer, you will become part of a business unit responsible for the development, planning, and management of production facilities. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and have the opportunity to contribute to ensuring a safe, cost-effective, and reliable facility operation.

This role is suitable for you who want to combine technical work with planning and analysis, and develop a broad understanding of maintenance work within the energy and process industry.

The assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for our client.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with the planning, development, and follow-up of maintenance efforts for production facilities. The tasks may vary depending on the business's needs, but examples of responsibilities include:

  • Plan and prepare maintenance work and repairs
  • Develop and update preventive maintenance plans
  • Participate in audits, facility projects, and improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to developing methods and processes within the maintenance function
  • Participate in tenders related to maintenance and technical services
  • Ensure that maintenance work is carried out in accordance with applicable laws, requirements, and guidelines
  • Collaborate with operations, facilities, procurement, finance, contractors, and other internal functions
  • Contribute to analyses and improvement measures to increase the safety, availability, and quality of the facilities

We are looking for you who

  • Have a vocational higher education (YH/KY) degree as a maintenance engineer or equivalent technical education
  • Have a technical interest and a desire to develop within maintenance and facility technology
  • Have good ability to work in a structured and analytical manner
  • Communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience with maintenance planning or maintenance systems
  • Experience from energy, process, or industrial operations
  • Experience with technical projects or improvement work
  • Knowledge in occupational health and safety, security, or risk management
