About the Role

As an operations technician with our client, you are responsible for the operation and maintenance of district heating facilities as well as customer service. You work in a cohesive team and handle technical challenges to maintain high delivery quality.

In this role, you manage the daily operation of solid fuel facilities in Storvik and Järbo, analyze disturbances, and propose preventive measures. The work includes planning, prioritizing, and following up on cases together with supervisors, as well as on-call duty covering production, distribution, and customer facilities.

Since our client works with security-classified assignments, an extract from the criminal record will be requested prior to employment.

Responsibilities

In the role of operations technician, you will work with the operation, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of heating plants. Furthermore, you will perform service and fault resolution at customer sites. The tasks are varied but include mechanical maintenance, digital monitoring, and on-call duty.

You will, among other things, work with:

• Checking and optimizing the performance of district heating boilers.
• Conducting rounds and preventive mechanical maintenance.
• Resolving operational disturbances and alarms from distribution facilities.
• Performing customer service and fault resolution at customer sites.
• Replacing energy meters and regulating equipment.
• Participating in scheduled on-call duty.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a post-secondary technical education in operations technology or plumbing/HVAC, or equivalent work experience.
• Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, as the tasks require it.
• Hold a valid B-class driver's license.

It is meritorious if you have

• Previous work experience in the operation and maintenance of power and heat technology.
• A valid boiler operator certificate.
