We are currently looking for a babysitter for a family in Vasastan, Stockholm.

About us

NPF Barnvakten offers childcare for families with children who have neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF).

NPF stands for neurodevelopmental functional impairment. The most common conditions include ADHD, Autism, ADD, AST, Tourette's syndrome, and speech disorders. Our goal is to help as many people with special needs as possible. Therefore, you will undergo internal training in NPF before starting your first assignment. The assignment:

• Number of children and age: 1 child, 7 years old
• Days and times: Weekdays approx. 13:00–16:00, sometimes evenings and weekends.
• Desired start date: Immediately
• Childcare takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park.
• Location: Vasastan, Stockholm.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has some form of experience with children, preferably children with NPF (ADHD, Autism, ID, or similar).
• Has experience with low-affective interaction and clear/structured pedagogy.
• Is responsible and has a genuine interest in children.
• Wants a developing and rewarding side job.
• Is pedagogical, secure, and calm.
• Experience with visual supports/TAKK is a merit.

• Picking up from preschool/school.
• Planning activities at home and outdoors.
• Providing support during excursions.
• Preparing simple meals.
• Bedtime routines.
• Activation, socialization, and respite care.
