We are currently looking for a babysitter for a family in Östermalm, Stockholm.

About us

NPF Barnvakten offers childcare for families with children within the neurodevelopmental disability (NPF) spectrum.

NPF stands for neuropsychiatric disability. The most common disabilities include ADHD, Autism, ADD, Asperger's Syndrome (AST), Tourette's Syndrome, and speech disorders. Our goal is to help as many people with special needs as possible. Therefore, you will undergo internal training in NPF before starting your first assignment. At NPF Barnvakten, you will find a developing, joyful, and incredibly rewarding part-time job.

The assignment:

• Number of children and age: 1 child, 6 years old
• Days and times: 1–3 times per week
• Desired start date: Immediately
• Childcare takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park.
• Location: Östermalm, Stockholm.

We are looking for you who:

• Have some form of experience with children, preferably children with NPF (ADHD, Autism, Intellectual Disability (ID), or similar).
• Have experience with low-affective handling and clear/structured pedagogy.
• Are responsible and have a genuine interest in children.
• Want a developing and rewarding part-time job.
• Are pedagogical, secure, and calm.

Advantage if you have a driver's license.

Advantage if you have experience with visual aids/TAKK (Total Communication).

Tasks:

The tasks may vary depending on the family's needs. Usual tasks may include:

• Picking up from preschool/school
• Planning activities at and outside the home
• Providing support during excursions
• Cooking simple meals
• Bedtime routines
• Activation, socialization, and respite care
