Skärgårdsgymnasiet Norrtälje is seeking a licensed veterinary nurse or veterinarian starting in August 2026 to teach on the Animal Husbandry Programme, specializing in Animal Care. The assignment involves approximately 100–150 hours of teaching during the academic year 2026/2027. The number of hours will increase for the academic year 2027/2028.

Your main responsibility will be to teach the subject of animal care, with a focus on animal health and veterinary care. The teaching will include both theoretical and practical components. You will collaborate closely with the animal husbandry teacher who instructs in related subjects, such as companion animals.

To qualify for this position, you must have experience as a licensed veterinary nurse or veterinarian. Previous teaching experience is considered an advantage.

You have the option to work either as a consultant or on a hourly contract basis during the first academic year.
