About Us

At the dialysis clinic at Kullbergska Hospital, we work as a multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses and doctors. We collaborate closely with dietitians, physiotherapists, social workers, and the region's other dialysis clinics at Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna and Nyköpings Lasarett.

The clinic has nine physical dialysis stations, and our operations are open from Monday to Saturday during daytime hours.

Your Responsibilities

We offer a well-developed induction program for new staff, lasting six weeks. Following this, continuous competence development, both practical and theoretical, takes place. You will be assigned a mentor and receive support for your development from nurses, especially during your first year.

You will have the opportunity to work with a mix of nursing care and medical technology, contributing to the development of kidney care at Kullbergska Hospital. As a dialysis nurse, you are responsible for a number of dialysis treatments per shift and are part of a team with several other nurses.

You will also be the primary nurse responsible for a number of patients. In this role, you will have the opportunity to follow and plan patient care over time in collaboration with the patient and the responsible physician, based on treatment goals. A key part of the job is to work actively with patient education so that patients feel involved and take responsibility for their own treatment.

Your Qualifications

You are a registered nurse with a genuine interest in learning and developing within the field of nephrology. Experience in dialysis care is meritorious but not a requirement. We are looking for someone who is meticulous, enjoys working in a team, and has a positive approach to meeting both patients and colleagues. Responsibility, empathy, teamwork skills, and quality awareness are important traits. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
