International English School (IES) is a leading independent school group with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is in both Swedish and English, and the hallways are bilingual. The language of meetings and communication amongst the staff is English.


IES is one of Sweden's largest school groups at compulsory school level with 48 schools and around 32,000 students across the country. IES has grown steadily and maintained quality since 1993.

School Nurse at International English School in Landskrona 60-80%

IES Landskrona opened its doors in 2017 and is a school for grades F-9. Daily, nearly 600 students and around 70 staff members meet at our school. We are a bilingual school, English-Swedish, following the Swedish curriculum. Working at our school means being part of a professional community and collaboration.

We are looking for a licensed school nurse to join our student health team who wants to make a difference in our students' everyday lives. Your mission as a school nurse is to work in collaboration with the student health team and other school staff to promote health, prevent issues, and take action with a focus on the educational mission so that all students have the conditions to achieve the educational goals in an environment that promotes their well-being and learning. The role includes standard tasks for school nurses, which include health talks, open reception, medical consultations, vaccinations, and preventive health work.

Who are you?

You take initiative, work independently, and plan and prioritize your tasks effectively. You can make your own decisions and initiate solutions to situations that may arise. You have excellent collaboration skills and express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English, and you have high digital competence. We place great importance on personal suitability in this recruitment as it is important for us that you fit into our team. We would like you to have further education in district nursing, child and youth care, or school nursing. Previous experience as a school nurse or similar work with children and youth is an advantage.

Employment form:

Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period at 60-80%. Vacation position. Salary according to agreement, collective agreement exists.
