Are you a qualified physiotherapist who wants to help create conditions for independence and quality of life for our Malmö residents? Then you are welcome to apply for the summer position with us!

Rehabgruppen Fenix, located in central Malmö, is now looking for a physiotherapist for June-August or by agreement.

Job Responsibilities

Rehabgruppen Fenix is a day rehabilitation center aimed at adults with acquired brain injuries and is operated by the City of Malmö. Patients come from all over Malmö via referrals from their doctors, and the vast majority of our patients have suffered strokes.

As a physiotherapist, you create good conditions for individuals to live as independently as possible. You are responsible for assessing functional status upon admission, developing specific training programs, and conducting discharge assessments. Rehabilitation plans are established together with the patient and occupational therapist. Work planning occurs both individually and collaboratively with the rest of the team, and training primarily takes place in our own facilities as well as in outdoor environments. In addition to specific rehabilitation, we actively promote a health-enhancing lifestyle, which runs as a common thread throughout the patient's rehabilitation period.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a recognized physiotherapy degree (180 credits)
  • Has good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
  • Has digital competence with experience using a computer as a work tool and aid
  • Can ride a bike

It is an advantage if you have experience in municipal operations and if you are a licensed physiotherapist.

We seek someone who is flexible and can adapt their working methods to the individual's needs and circumstances. The work is varied and requires a good ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team. The team consists of two physiotherapists, two occupational therapists, a social worker, and a nursing assistant, so you should enjoy working in a smaller group.
