Team MBT provides mentalization-based therapy (MBT) for patients with emotionally unstable personality disorder. In MBT, the focus is primarily on relationships in the present and aims to strengthen the patient's ability to reflect on their own and others' thoughts and feelings. The treatment consists of individual therapy and group therapy, as well as supervision on both method and process. Team MBT consists of four psychologists and a specialist physician and is part of the Adult Psychiatry Clinic for emotional instability, together with the DBT team and the self-harm team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking forward to welcoming a new psychologist colleague to us!

The main tasks involve mentalization-based therapy individually and in groups, as well as personality assessments. Depending on the needs of the organization, other tasks within the unit may also become relevant, such as training, supervision, and treatment using other methods for the target group.

The position is a one-year temporary contract.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed psychologist with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. Experience working with psychotherapy individually and in groups for personality disorders within adult psychiatry is considered an advantage. Training in MBT and experience treating patients with MBT is also advantageous.

Effective teamwork is a prerequisite for successful treatment of emotionally unstable personality disorder, and therefore good collaboration skills are also required.
