About the Department

The General Psychiatry/Psychosis Department works with patients with affective disorders, eating disorder issues, self-harm behavior, and psychosis. The department has a total of 16 care beds, of which 7 are designated for psychotic conditions requiring inpatient care.

The staff group consists of doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, and care assistants. The work group is a mix of employees with many years of experience working in the clinic and newly recruited employees with a burning interest and curiosity, which creates a stimulating atmosphere in the workplace. We are in constant development; we work to improve the employees' working environment, for example through green corridors, which gives us the opportunity to provide our patients with good care and stimulate employees to further development at a professional and personal level.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse, you are primarily responsible for nursing care and have a leadership function. You lead the work in agreement with other professional groups in the team. The role as a nurse includes creating a nursing plan together with the patient, documentation, medication distribution, conversations with patients and relatives, etc. In addition to the usual tasks, you will have the opportunity to participate in development work at the unit.

Your Competence

You who are applying are a registered nurse, preferably with psychiatric experience and specialist training in psychiatry. As a person, you are stable and secure in your professional role. You are responsible and can work independently and take initiative, while also seeing the positive aspects of good collaboration with colleagues. In the meeting with the patient, you have a professional and open attitude with a holistic view of the human being.
