Do you hold a C-class driver's license and want to work with LUMIRE this summer? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Luleå Miljöresurs AB (Lumire) has been, since the turn of the year 2021/2022, your municipal company for recycling, waste management, and water and sewage issues. Lumire is owned by Luleå kommunföretag. We ensure that you have fresh and tasty drinking water from the tap and that your waste is handled, reused, or recycled using the best technology. We handle nearly 55,000 tons of waste per year, collected from 38,000 households and 700 companies in Luleå. We operate the four recycling centers in Luleå and the waste facility in Sunderbyn. We play a significant role in shaping the future city and countryside, making us an important prerequisite for Luleå's growth. We are Norrbotten's largest food producer (biogas) and deliver 8 million cubic meters of drinking water annually.

Within our sewage operations, we annually purify 10 million cubic meters of wastewater and produce 2 million cubic meters of green biogas. By coordinating water and waste issues within the same company, we become a stronger actor in sustainable environmental technology and community development. We currently have approximately 220 employees working to create environmental benefits for Luleå's residents.

We need reinforcement during the summer. You will work with the collection and transport of waste using the vehicles in our fleet. Other tasks within the operational area may also occur.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone with relevant education and a few years of professional experience in truck driving. You must hold at least a Class C driver's license and a valid YKB (Certificate of Professional Competence). A CE license, ADR certification, experience in waste management, or other service professions are considered assets.

As a person, we want you to be flexible, self-reliant, and have a good ability to collaborate, create, and maintain good relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners. It is an advantage if you find it easy to learn routines and have a good sense of local community.
