The Department of Community Planning is responsible for catering and cleaning, development, urban planning and building permits, parks and green spaces, streets, water, and waste. Here, over 300 employees work together to make Ystad a great municipality to live, work, and thrive in.
RESPONSIBILITIES

We are a team consisting of approximately 70 dedicated cleaners who strive for perfection in every detail. You will not be alone; we have 4 experienced team leaders ready to help with daily planning and guide you through every step. Additionally, there are two engaged unit managers there to support and inspire success.
Your mission is to make every surface sparkling clean and inviting, with a focus on public environments. By handling cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and wet mops, you will create pleasant and inviting public environments for our residents.
Working hours are during the day on weekdays and every other weekend.
QUALIFICATIONS
For this role, we are looking for someone who meets the following requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience working as a cleaner
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
- Class B driver's license for manual transmission
In addition, we expect you to have an eye for detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Experience in cleaning within the public sector, as well as SRY or PRYL certification, is considered an asset.
EMPLOYMENT TERMS
- Salary form: Monthly salary
- Employment type: Fixed-term employment
- Duration: 3–6 months
- Working hours: Daytime
