Are you willing to learn a lot in a short time while making a contribution to healthcare? We are looking for you who do not have any healthcare education but are interested in gaining insight into the healthcare environment through various service tasks in a care department.

At our workplace, Serviceteam Ystad, we currently have about 65 service staff with different specializations and competencies such as basic transport/supply, cleaning, logistics, and care-related services. All with the desire to do their utmost to facilitate the work of the healthcare staff so they can spend more time on the patient's recovery. Our most important focus is to reduce the spread of infection in all moments, regardless of the tasks we perform. All employees therefore have basic training in Danish hygiene standards and cleaning in healthcare environments. We want to be role models and knowledge bearers in healthcare hygiene.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of service host, you will work with cleaning the department, office spaces, and common areas. Patient-related cleaning and infection cleaning are also included. In the staff kitchen, you assist the healthcare staff by brewing coffee and emptying the dishwasher. You will also assist in the department with various tasks.

The work takes place in a hospital environment, and you will work side by side with, among others, nurses, doctors, nursing assistants, and caretakers. In your daily work, you will also have contact with the patients who are in the department.

The position involves work Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are at least 18 years old and have a completed high school education or equivalent. The position requires that you have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, which means that you need to understand information and communicate with colleagues, healthcare staff, and patients. It is advantageous if you have cleaning education, SRY, Danish hygiene standards, INSTA800, and/or work experience in cleaning. Previous experience in the service industry is also an advantage. If you have work experience in cleaning in a hospital, that is particularly advantageous.

The work is independent and therefore places high demands on initiative and responsibility. Working in a hospital environment also places great demands on accuracy and humility as you will be in an environment where people are particularly vulnerable, and it is also required to read a situation and adapt accordingly. A good reception and a high level of service are crucial for the patient's hospital stay, therefore we see that you are positive and accommodating. You are passionate about delivering high service and want to help create a good and pleasant healthcare environment for the patients in Skåne. We are keen to find the right person for the position and therefore place great importance on personal suitability.
