About the position

As a Construction Engineer, you will continuously work with the project's economy, planning, and contract management, ensuring that the right conditions are in place for an efficient and quality-assured execution. The work involves close contact with the site manager, project management, suppliers, and subcontractors, where you support production with everything from cost and schedule follow-up to procurement and documentation.

You will be employed as a consultant via Academic Work and work for our client. The position is long-term, and if all parties are satisfied with the collaboration, you will eventually have the opportunity to be employed directly by our client.

Responsibilities

• Economic follow-up, budgeting, and forecasting
• Contract administration and construction law
• Production and schedule planning
• Procurement and supplier dialogue

We are looking for someone who

• Has a university or civil engineering education related to construction
• Has worked in a similar role for a few years
• Has good command of Swedish and English as required in daily work

It is an advantage if you have

• Access to your own car as it may be needed to travel to the project site
• Live in or near Luleå as the position is long-term
