We are currently looking for more drivers to join our team of drivers for Paratransit Vehicles / Multi-vehicles in Umeå. We are looking for both full-time and part-time candidates.

A multi-vehicle is a minibus with the capacity to transport passengers seated in wheelchairs. Our multi-vehicles can be driven with a standard B-class driver's license. However, you must hold a taxi license. As a driver in a multi-vehicle, you will primarily perform wheelchair transport, but also hearse transport, paratransit, school trips, and medical transport, and occasionally regular taxi trips. Working hours are varied and follow a shift schedule, which means evenings and weekends may occur. However, we also have other types of schedules, such as only afternoons/evenings, if you prefer that.

For these positions, the start date is as soon as possible. Before employment begins, training in the company's routines and equipment will be conducted.

We primarily seek candidates who already hold a taxi license, but we also accept candidates who are interested in obtaining a taxi license if you seem like the right person for the organization. For those who do not have a taxi license, we can offer assistance with the studies to obtain the license (study materials, etc.). We also cover the costs associated with obtaining the taxi license (exam fees, medical examinations, etc.).

By "best," we mean someone who is not only safe behind the wheel but also a person who can deliver excellent service and take care of our customers with a cheerful demeanor. Driving a taxi with us is primarily about offering good service, and it is a great advantage if you enjoy customer interaction and are socially inclined. You work with customer contact on every trip, and you play an important role in the daily lives of those who use our services.

We are a premium brand in the taxi industry, and you will be our face to the public and an ambassador for the company; therefore, we have high standards for you. Being a premium brand is also reflected in our excellent reputation among both customers and drivers. Currently, our drivers have a customer rating of 4.7 out of 5. Maintaining a high standard and quality means we have a strong customer base and many trips. A strong customer base and high volume of trips mean we are well-positioned regarding wages within the industry.

Your tasks are to perform trips for Min Taxi's customers in Umeå and surrounding municipalities as a taxi driver, and to provide our customers with the best possible service. Taxi driving is a highly service-oriented profession with extensive customer contact. It is easy to think that taxi driving involves trips to/from bars on weekend evenings, as this is often what private individuals associate with taxis. Driving a taxi with us is primarily about performing publicly funded traffic on weekdays. This includes medical transport for regions, school trips, and paratransit trips for municipalities. We also handle a significant number of business trips for corporate clients. You work constantly with people and are often a key part of their daily routine to get to/from healthcare facilities, schools, work, etc.

We cover a large geographical area and operate traffic in large parts of Norrland. We have vehicles stationed in, for example, Boden, Kalix, Luleå, Nordmaling, Robertsfors, Sollefteå, Vindeln, Vännäs, Umeå, and Örnsköldsvik municipalities. It is not uncommon for us to have many longer trips crossing municipal borders and across large parts of Norrland. We currently have approximately 150 vehicles and about 250 employed drivers.

In addition to performing trips and taking care of our customers, the job includes keeping the vehicles you drive clean and well-maintained.

The company has a collective agreement, and wages are determined in accordance with the agreement. Work in multi-vehicles is compensated according to the following model.

New driver without experience in the profession
Hourly wage: 166.78 SEK/h
Per month: 27,753 SEK / 166.4 hours

2 years of experience in the profession
Hourly wage: 171.84 SEK/h
Per month: 28,594 SEK / 166.4 hours

4 years of experience in the profession
Hourly wage: 174.71 SEK/h
Per month: 28,594 SEK / 166.4 hours

6 years of experience in the profession
Hourly wage: 175.31 SEK/h
Per month: 29,171 SEK / 166.4 hours

31.58 SEK/h for inconvenient hours (OB)
52.79 SEK/h for qualified inconvenient hours (Kval-OB)
