We are looking for a Transport Manager who wants to be part of our team during the summer and after summer as needed.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced individual for the role of Transport Manager at our office in Umeå.

Responsibilities and tasks: As a Transport Manager at Kyl och Frysexpressen, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient transport operations. Your main responsibilities include:

• Planning and managing daily operations based on set goals and conditions.
• Coordinating resources from different departments to ensure that transports are carried out according to plan.
• Monitoring daily operations and communicating priorities to employees.
• Supporting production managers in process-related issues and handling traffic and vehicle matters.
• Carrying out tasks related to work environment and personnel responsibility, such as employee interviews and work management.

Qualifications: To succeed in the role of Transport Manager at Kyl och Frysexpressen, you should have the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the logistics industry is desirable and merits.
• Experience in personnel management is important as you will be the closest contact for drivers and customers.
• Driver's license at least B. Heavier license (CE) is a merit.

Competence profile: We are looking for someone who:

• Is process-oriented and has integrity as well as an ethical approach.
• Is results-oriented and has good planning skills.
• Is structured, proactive, and has basic competence in KoV's operations.
