Are you looking for a job that offers variety? We are currently recruiting a nursing assistant for home care services in Älvdalen. This is a weekend position with a full-time equivalent of 27 hours.

As a nursing assistant in Älvdalen Municipality, you will have the opportunity for varied work with both independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues. You will become an important part of providing our users with a secure, meaningful, and joyful daily life – and occasionally an extra good laugh.

Responsibilities

You will perform standard tasks for a nursing assistant within elderly care/home care. The work includes personal care and service measures, and together with your colleagues, you will have direct responsibility/fixed care contact for the elderly.

We work with delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act. You will actively work with implementation plans, planning, and documentation, as well as perform decided measures according to the Social Services Act.

You will also collaborate with your colleagues in daily activities with a focus on dementia care, where we together create a secure and meaningful existence for people living with a dementia disease.

Who are we looking for?

To thrive in the role of a nursing assistant with us, you are secure, stable, and easily adapt to different situations. You work well with others, are positive about your profession, and act in accordance with made decisions. You are calm, attentive, and have a genuine interest in helping others.

• You are an educated nursing assistant with a protected professional title, preferably with a focus on dementia care, geriatrics, health pedagogy, or special pedagogy.
• You have a B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle.
• You have the ability to express yourself in the Swedish language, both verbally and in writing.

Good to know

• Permanent weekend service is an employment form for those who want to work weekends.
• The full-time equivalent for the position is on average 27 hours/week, during day and evening shifts.
• Working hours are scheduled every weekend at fixed times based on a local collective agreement.
• As part of developing our operations, we are applying the 'permanent weekend service' model on a trial basis for one year. If the model or the underlying local collective agreement ceases to apply, such employments will be handled by relocation to a traditional working time schedule and working time measure.
• A criminal record extract will be requested.
