School Health Services provide students with access to medical, psychological, psychosocial, and special pedagogical interventions. The service works to promote health and prevent issues, supporting students' development towards educational goals. Your Responsibilities

In the role of Head of School Health, you will lead and drive the preventive and health-promoting school health work. This is done in collaboration with the Education Administration's management group, operations managers, principals, and the school health team. In your role, you are expected to coordinate and lead the various professions within the school health teams. With a clear focus on the assignment, you will lead and develop the operations in accordance with the requirements of the Education Act and the curriculum. We prefer that you have knowledge of the Health and Medical Services Act, as the position also includes the assignment of Operations Manager for the medical intervention of school health. You have overall responsibility for finance, operations, and personnel management for school nurses, counselors, psychologists, speech therapists, and health coaches.

You will represent Kalix Municipality in school health matters in external collaboration with the Region and other actors.

In the role of Specialist Psychologist, you will contribute to developing the internal organization (School Health), for example by educating, developing, and leading new ways of working. You will work within School Health with your expert knowledge regarding research on health-promoting and preventive interventions and methods, lead the implementation of current methods and approaches, disseminate current research, and conduct training initiatives.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist and have completed a specialization in educational psychology or another education that the employer considers equivalent. Work experience within school operations is a requirement, as is experience in school health work and the development of school health teams. A driver's license is required.
