Description

We need temporary reinforcement during the summer and early autumn to carry out fieldwork.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks will include forest assessment and marking for forest valuation as well as marking of area protection (setting up posts and painting boundaries). Assisting with other tasks within the district may also be required. The work will be carried out both independently and together with others. Travel with overnight stays within and outside the district may occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in similar practical work and who can work independently in forests and land.

Your personal qualities are of great importance. You should have the willingness and ability to take responsibility for the tasks and work independently in a structured manner towards set goals. You need to be meticulous and able to work alone in the forest. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. You should have basic skills in IT programs (Word, Excel, Office) and the ability to use GIS/GPS in the field.

Education with a focus on forestry and nature or equivalent is an advantage, but not a requirement. We value relevant work experience and experience in similar tasks.

A driver's license is required.

Conditions

We offer a fixed-term employment with a workload of 100% between June 1 – September 30.
