About the Position

As a machine operator at Norma Precision AB, you will work alongside your colleagues to manufacture precision ammunition for hunting, sports, and defense. The job involves both personal responsibility and close collaboration with other employees in production as well as support functions such as maintenance, technology, and quality. You will operate and be responsible for machines with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Often, you will work within an area of responsibility with more than one machine, which means you need to master various types of machines and technical solutions.

Your main tasks as a machine operator will include:

Operating, adjusting, and monitoring several types of controlled machines
Performing measurements and quality controls according to drawings and instructions
Identifying and rectifying faults in machines and processes
Working according to established routines for safety, quality, and production efficiency

The position as a machine operator is a consulting assignment with a start date as agreed. This is an assignment that could be the start of a long-term career at Norma Precision AB. Currently, production operates on 3-shift and 2-shift systems. You need to be available to work both shift forms.

About You

We are looking for someone with technical knowledge and experience, a sense of order, and a good ability to collaborate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You have experience in the manufacturing industry, have worked practically with controlled machines, and possess very good computer skills. Being able to read drawings, perform measurements, and understand the results is essential for controlling and correcting the process.

Furthermore, we see that you are meticulous, responsible, and proactive. You want to develop within your area of responsibility and are curious about broadening your competence in various parts of production. You thrive in a flexible role where tasks may vary.

Important for the position:

Experience working with controlled machines in the manufacturing industry, preferably in machining
Good computer skills and the ability to read drawings and perform measurements
Ability to work meticulously, take responsibility, and act independently
Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
