As a project engineer in telecommunications systems within the technical systems section, you will contribute to ensuring the operation and maintenance of the Swedish Transport Administration's technical installations in road facilities within the maintenance district East/Stockholm.

About the role

In this role, you will work closely with project management and other technical functions to support and develop work with important infrastructure systems. The assignment primarily involves facilities related to road tunnels and movable bridges, where you will be involved in ensuring that the systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. You will be part of a team that works to develop and manage technical solutions that contribute to a modern and sustainable transport system.

• Participate in construction and technical meetings as well as internal monthly reviews.
• Follow up on deliveries and work in the Swedish Transport Administration's maintenance system (GUS).
• Manage financial follow-up, including review and handling of invoices.
• Be the contact person and coordinate the dialogue with the project's various stakeholders, such as contractors and internal functions.
• Work in the project portal and be responsible for document management and filing.
• Contribute to the work with control programs and manage incoming customer and case management related to the projects.

Mandatory requirements

All requirements must be clearly stated in the CV, including periods, assignments, scope, and responsibilities.

• Technical university education of at least 180 credits (120 points) or other education combined with experience deemed equivalent by the Swedish Transport Administration.
• At least one year of experience as a project engineer, site manager, or assistant project manager in a technically oriented project. Verified by at least one reference assignment.
• Experience with administrative tasks related to project activities. Verified by at least one reference assignment.
• Good computer skills and experience from working with business-related IT support systems.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
• Knowledge of contract law.

Assignment information

The assignment is to start no later than 2026-04-27 for a duration of 6 months from the date the contract comes into effect.

Option: The client has the unilateral option to extend the contract with existing contractual terms for an additional 6+6 months.

Scope: The estimated workload for the assignment is 100 percent of the annual working time for one (1) resource consultant. The annual working time is defined as 1,700 hours.

The location for the resource consultant is Solna. This assignment requires physical presence at the Swedish Transport Administration's office 5 days a week; remote work may be allowed in certain cases and then in agreement with the client.
