Job Description

As a car damage technician for our client in Sätra, you will be responsible for damage assessment, repair, and restoration of passenger cars to ensure functionality, safety, and high quality before delivery. You will work in a workshop environment alongside technicians and administrative staff where accuracy, clear documentation, and problem-solving are central. The role includes both bodywork, sheet metal work, paint preparations, assembly of components, as well as final inspections and documentation of completed actions.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform damage assessments and prepare cost estimates according to the workshop's procedures

• Carry out sheet metal work, welding, alignment, and assembly of body components

• Prepare surfaces and collaborate with the paint department for a professional result

• Conduct measurements and use a frame bench as well as other special equipment

• Document work in the workshop system and report deviations or the need for further actions

• Collaborate with colleagues to reproduce damages, plan workflows, and ensure delivery times

• Ensure order and safety in the work area and follow procedures for occupational health and environmental management

Qualifications

• Education in car damage repair, bodywork, or equivalent practical experience from a workshop is an advantage

• Experience in sheet metal work, welding, and body repairs is desirable

• Familiarity with frame benches, measuring tools, and damage assessment methods

• Good computer skills for documentation in administrative systems

• Ability to communicate clearly in Swedish in both speech and writing

• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and solution-focused with good teamwork skills

• Driver's license B (manual) required
