About the position

As an operations technician at our client, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of district heating facilities as well as service for customers. You will work in a close-knit team and handle technical challenges to maintain high delivery quality.

In this role, you will manage the daily operations of solid fuel facilities in Storvik and Järbo, analyze disturbances, and propose preventive measures. The work includes planning, prioritizing, and following up on cases together with the team leader, as well as on-call duty covering production, distribution, and customer facilities.

Since our client works with security-classified assignments, extracts from the criminal record will be requested before employment.

Job responsibilities

In the role of operations technician, you will work with the operation, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of power plants. Furthermore, you will perform service and troubleshooting at customer sites. The tasks are varied but include mechanical maintenance, digital monitoring, and on-call duty.

You will work with:

• Controlling and optimizing the performance of district heating boilers.
• Performing rounds and preventive mechanical maintenance.
• Addressing operational disturbances and alarms from distribution facilities.
• Conducting customer service and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Replacing energy meters and regulating equipment.
• Participating in scheduled on-call duty.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a post-secondary technical education in operations technology or HVAC, or equivalent work experience that we assess as comparable
• Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, as the tasks require it
• Holds a valid driver's license (B).

It is a merit if you have

• Previous work experience in the operation and maintenance of power and heating technology
• Current certification for boiler operators
