IGT Sweden Interactive AB is hiring Software Tester

IGT Sweden Interactive AB in Växjö creates, develops, and delivers world-class casino games. IGT is a global company that develops and maintains complete software solutions for server-based gaming machines. IGT is doing well and now needs to expand its testing team in Växjö with a Software Tester.

Your Responsibilities

As a Software Tester at IGT, you will be part of various development projects where your main task is to identify and report system errors through testing in JIRA. In this role, you will perform systematic testing on both existing and newly produced products.

As a Software Tester, you will also:

• Maintain and improve existing test data.
• Monitor reported issues and report when they are resolved.
• Report inconsistencies in the software.
• Work on improvements together with the development team.

At the Växjö office, there are 45 colleagues you will work closely with daily, and as a Software Tester, you will report directly to the responsible manager in Växjö. At IGT, you will work in a successful and energetic team where you, as a Software Tester, will develop games for the European market together with other functions within the organization. As a Software Tester, you will be part of a group of 10 people.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in software testing from previous roles or relevant education. In your work, you are driven to find solutions to technical problems and understand the importance of focused and quality-assured work. As a colleague, you have good collaboration skills and understand the importance of communication to find the right path in each project. We prefer that you speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English.

As a person, you are meticulous, analytical, and structured. Furthermore, you are responsible and creative in your approach and enjoy continuously developing your skills in software testing. To thrive at IGT, you are a team player who enjoys working on various projects where you need to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

We see that you have the following qualifications:

• Experience in software testing from previous work or relevant education.
• Fluent communication in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of SQL.

If you have previous experience with test automation for both web products and in Windows environments and/or tool experience from, for example, JIRA, Confluence, it is considered an advantage for the position.
