The transport operations are part of the Regional Management Administration and support the Region's activities with responsibilities including mortuary services, patient transport, waste management, pharmaceutical distribution, transportation of medical supplies, and assistive device transport within Ångermanland.

The transport unit in Örnsköldsvik, with a total of 17 employees, aims to deliver service with high customer satisfaction, accessibility, and reliability within its operational area. The operations are mainly linked to Örnsköldsvik Hospital, but truck transports within Ångermanland are also carried out daily. The transport unit in Örnsköldsvik is now seeking 6 substitutes for the summer. The positions are temporary full-time contracts starting on 2026-06-01 or as agreed until the end of the holiday period.

Janitor for the Transport Unit, Örnsköldsvik Summer 2026

As a substitute in the Transport Department, your tasks will include delivering goods, working in the mortuary, handling various types of waste including hazardous waste, managing pharmaceuticals, performing relocations, transporting patients, and in some special cases, driving light trucks, etc.

Since heavy lifting is involved in the work, good physical ability is a prerequisite.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a B driver's license
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing
• Have work experience in service, warehousing, retail, or driving
• Have ADR and C licenses
• Have a forklift license
