Here you will work practically, variably, and with a professional pride that is evident in every assignment. As a ship mechanic, you are one of those who ensure that everything from passenger boats to work barges continues to operate safely, securely, and efficiently.

What does a typical day look like with us?

No day is the same. One day you may work with engines and mechanical systems, the next day you might be welding, changing hydraulic hoses, troubleshooting electronics, or assisting with a dry docking. The work is done both independently and together with skilled colleagues – a team where everyone helps each other, learns new things, and always strives for the best results.

You will, for example, work with:

• Repairs and service of engines and mechanical systems
• Welding and sheet metal work
• Pipe installations and hydraulics
• Ship electrical systems and troubleshooting onboard
• Painting, sandblasting, and other shipyard work
• Participation in launching and dry docking

If there is any part of the job you feel uncertain about, there are always supportive colleagues to ask, and we help each other.

Who we believe you are

You enjoy solving problems and see opportunities where others see obstacles. Experience in mechanics, vehicles, industry, or marine work is a good foundation – experience with ships, hydraulics, welding, or electrical work is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important thing is the right attitude, a meticulous working method, and the joy of doing a good job together with others. A driver's license (B) is required.

The position is full-time, based in Rindö, Vaxholm. Service assignments in the Stockholm area may occur.
