Team Leader for Cleaning Services

About the Role

At Järfällahus, we have a strong focus on creating and maintaining clean, tidy, and pleasant areas for our tenants. Therefore, we have a department that focuses on grounds maintenance, cleaning services, and environmental rooms. The department aims to create job opportunities for our tenants. In our continued development journey, we need to strengthen our new operations with a responsible, engaged, and unpretentious team leader focused on cleaning services who wants to help lead Järfällahus to the next level.

You will be part of Järfällahus's core operations responsible for ensuring that our tenants have a pleasant living environment. You will be the team leader for a group of cleaners, and most of your workday will consist of developing the employees' knowledge in cleaning services, driving personal development, and preparing employees for future job opportunities. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring that the daily operations follow established processes and routines. The role of team leader also has an operational aspect, which means that you will actively work as a cleaner alongside the team and perform the tasks included in the role of a cleaner. You will report to the head of external maintenance, cleaning services, and environmental caretakers.

Examples of Tasks:

• Daily management within the team
• Daily guidance
• Plan and conduct training sessions
• Cleaning according to agreed cleaning routines for daily cleaning, stair cleaning, and window cleaning
• Ensure that materials and supplies are available and ordered as needed
• Inspections of common areas to ensure they are kept fresh
• Strengthening areas from a safety perspective in collaboration with other departments within the company
• Contact with tenants, tenant associations, etc.
• Clear tenant dialogue focusing on our annual customer survey (NKI)

About You

As a leader, you are a role model and act through a humble, engaged, attentive, and goal-oriented approach.

You thrive in an environment characterized by learning and development as many of our employees are far from the labor market. You are a service-oriented and driven person with a holistic perspective who can plan and manage daily work within cleaning services in a solution-focused and pedagogical manner, as well as understanding the importance of being a team player and collaborating with others. You are attentive and have a professional demeanor towards tenants and employees.

Your Background

We are looking for someone who has worked for at least three years in cleaning services. It is advantageous if you have previously held a supervisory role, worked with guidance and training, and have prior experience in daily management.

You should have at least a high school education.

You need to have very good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. If you also master other languages and have previous experience working in the public housing sector, that is also considered an advantage. You also need to have a driver's license, B-class.
