We are looking for

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. We also expect you to have a B driver's license. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of other languages. If you have experience working with service and maintenance and are used to customer contact, that is also an asset for the position. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are flexible, service-oriented, and structured. You value and see the benefit of collaboration with others.

What you will be working on

As an assistive technology technician, your main tasks will be to be responsible for service, maintenance, and repairs of the wide range of assistive devices available in our assortment. This text applies to Kiruna, Gällivare, Kalix, Piteå: The work primarily takes place in the patient's own home. This text applies to Boden: The work takes place in the organization's own premises. The assistive technology operation has the mission to provide a good and effective supply of assistive devices so that patients have equal access to functional and adequate assistive devices throughout the county. Collaboration on assistive technology issues should also provide an effective supply of assistive devices of good quality.

Information about the position

We offer a full-time temporary position during the summer period of 2026, daytime working hours. Start date according to agreement. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
