Adjacent to Furuviksparken lies our fantastic and family-friendly Furuvik Havshotell and our forest-close camping, right by the water with a magical view of the sea. The hotel's own tasteful restaurant Havskrogen is located next to the hotel. Here, our guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Inside Furuviksparken, our new summer restaurant Verandan opened in 2025. The restaurant is like a gem in the lush greenery of the park. With its large glass sections, the boundary between indoors and outdoors is blurred. Here, our guests can recharge with our summer menu while feeling the pulse of the park. We are now looking for employees for several positions within the restaurant for both of our restaurants!

Server

In the role of server, you primarily work with table orders and are responsible for payment and reporting of sales. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in food and drink, who is initiative-taking and inventive, curious, and driven by the desire to provide the best possible service to our restaurant and hotel guests. Previous experience in the restaurant industry is required, and it is highly meritorious if you have experience in serving or bar work. It is also meritorious if you have an ongoing or completed restaurant education.

Bartender

As a bartender, you work in a changing environment as our target audience varies. You serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. You handle the cash register and receive payments. Your tasks also include serving food and keeping the bar area clean and tidy. We are looking for someone with an interest in food and drink, who wants to have fun at work and is also driven by the desire to provide the best possible service to our guests. You have previously worked as a bartender, and it is meritorious if you have completed a bartender training.

Restaurant Assistant

Do you love providing world-class service while getting the chance to learn more about serving? Then the position of restaurant assistant/runner is for you. The role primarily involves supporting the serving staff by delivering food to the restaurant's guests, setting and clearing tables, and helping with the dishes. It is meritorious if you have previous experience in the service industry, are in training/have completed training in restaurant school or similar.

Breakfast Host

As an early-rising breakfast host at cozy Furuvik Havskrog, your main task will be to set up and replenish the buffet during hotel breakfast. The role also includes clearing dishes and keeping the dining area clean and fresh. We are looking for someone driven to create world-class guest interactions and who enjoys when the days are fast-paced. Previous experience in the restaurant industry is meritorious.

Cook/Cold Kitchen Assistant

As a cook/cold kitchen assistant, you work together with the head chef to plan operations and be part of the team that produces all the food coming from the unit. Together with your colleagues, you ensure the highest food quality and work towards the department's set goals. For this role, we are looking for someone who has completed restaurant education or has previously worked in a similar role in the restaurant industry. You enjoy a fast pace, have a genuine interest in cooking, and are service-oriented. Furthermore, you can work independently and are happy to take your own initiatives. You enjoy working in a team and want to deliver extraordinary taste experiences to our guests.

Kitchen Assistant

For this role, we are looking for someone with a genuine interest in cooking and who sees this as an opportunity to gain further experience in the restaurant industry. The tasks primarily involve assisting in the kitchen with everything related to cooking. It is meritorious if you have experience from similar work or have completed restaurant education. As the pace in our restaurant can often be high, we are looking for someone who is flexible and solution-oriented.

Dishwasher

In the role of dishwasher, you have a very important function in both the dining room and the kitchen. Through your engagement and efficient way of working, you ensure that the dishes are done safely and smoothly. You handle the dishes, replenish glasses, cutlery, plates, and keep order in the dishwashing area. We are looking for someone who has worked as a dishwasher, and it is meritorious if you have experience in the restaurant industry. As the pace in our restaurant can often be high, you are self-sufficient and resilient in your way of working. It is important to note that the work is often physically demanding.

More about our positions

All positions are seasonal employment lasting from May to August with varying degrees of employment. Work is scheduled for both daytime, evenings, and weekends. Salary is applied according to collective agreements. We do not offer staff accommodation.

In addition to our summer season, our business offers more wonderful experiences for our guests, including our spooky Halloween season and our delightful Christmas buffet, hence there is a possibility for extension.
