About the roleAs a lock consultant at INTEC Uppsala, you will work to create secure and functional door environments in various construction projects. You will plan, design, draw, document, and coordinate – but not install. In this role, you will be a key person ensuring that door environments meet requirements for fire safety, passage, alarms, accessibility, and physical security. You will work in a technical and advisory role where your work forms the basis for installers and contractors out in the projects. About the teamYou will be part of a growing security team with good cohesion and an unpretentious culture. The group consists of specialists in locks, glass, design, and physical security. Here you will work closely with experienced colleagues and have a safe, structured, and technically strong environment to develop in. The team is characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a genuine desire to help each other. Your tasksIn the role, you will among other things:

• Design locks and fittings for different types of properties
• Create detailed door cards
• Draw security drawings in AutoCAD
• Develop security plans and documentation for door environments
• Coordinate requirements between fire, electricity, passage, alarms, and accessibility
• Document solutions and ensure the quality of materials
• Participate in design meetings with colleagues and clients

• Site visits and technical reviews
• Quotations and calculations
• Review of procurement documents
• Ordering materials for locks, fittings, and door automation
• Inspections of security systems and door environments

Who you areYou have worked for a couple of years as a locksmith, lock technician, or in a similar role and now want to take the step towards a more design-oriented and advisory position. You feel comfortable in door environments and have a technical curiosity that allows you to quickly learn new systems and methods. You enjoy working in a structured manner, are meticulous in documentation, and like to collaborate. In dialogue, you are open, clear, and curious – and you appreciate being part of a team where everyone supports each other. Requirements

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good English skills
• At least 2 years of experience in locks, lock technology, or door environments
• Basic knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards
• Good computer skills
• Passed background check (required for certain projects)

Meritorious

• B driver's license
• Technical education, such as construction engineer or similar
• Experience with CAD, especially AutoCAD
