About us

The municipalities of Berg and Härjedalen have a joint environmental and building department and environmental and building committee. In total, we are about 45 employees working with issues related to environmental and health protection, environmental monitoring, food, alcohol, planning, and GIS/measurement.

Are you an experienced building permit officer with an unplanned summer? We are looking for someone to fill in with us over the summer, from June to August!

Job Responsibilities

The work will consist of responding to incoming phone calls and emails from applicants, operators, and citizens regarding building permits and notification matters according to PBL. Another task is to plan, execute, and document site visits and final consultations.

You will be part of an efficient department characterized by joy at work and a focus on solutions!

Qualifications

The job requires you to hold a B driver's license.
We are looking for someone with documented education and experience as a building permit officer, preferably from a similar organization. You have good system knowledge in MyCarta and ByggR/Nova.
You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Experience from construction sites equivalent to a carpenter is an advantage for the temporary position; we will prioritize applicants residing in Härjedalen or Klövsjö/Storhogna.

Personal Qualities

You are self-driven and can plan and prioritize your own work. You enjoy being part of the larger puzzle and understand our operations' role in the bigger context. You have an inherent sense of service and are good at communicating.
