Custodian and Transport

The Custodian and Transport Unit in the Supply Department consists of 19 employees who work with mail, goods, waste management, access cards, and transportation.

The unit is represented at Visborg, Korpen, the Hospital, and Österby.

Your Responsibilities

In this position, you will deliver mail, goods, packages, etc., to many businesses and customers around Visby and the rest of Gotland using a delivery vehicle. You will also sort mail within the internal mail flow. If you hold a C license and have an active YKB, you may also have the opportunity to learn to drive our trucks, where you will deliver larger storage carts, pallets, and food carts.

You will undergo an introduction and training for these tasks before the summer, after which you will substitute for regular staff from June to the end of August.

Work may also be required on weekends.

Who Are You?

You have a B driver's license and very good driving experience. A C license and an active YKB are advantageous.

A good sense of service is essential to provide a positive experience for our customers, as well as to have good interaction and collaboration with other drivers.

You are meticulous, possess a positive drive, and have the ability to act and work independently. The work can be physically demanding at times and occurs periodically at a fast pace, so good planning skills and high stress tolerance are required.
