One of our two medical foot care therapists is retiring after the summer, and we are now looking for their successor. Are you a positive, driven, and committed medical foot care therapist? You might be the right person for us!

Currently, over 50 people work at Adolfsberg Health Center, and we have about 15,000 registered patients. Our catchment area consists of both residential areas, apartment buildings, and rural areas. Medical Foot Care Therapist at Adolfsberg Health CenterJob Responsibilities

The position is part of a county assignment linked to the diabetes clinics in Primary Care, which means that you, together with other medical foot care therapists, will receive patients from all health centers in the county. You will be responsible for your own clinic and work closely with our diabetes nurses and doctors. Your work includes treatment, preventive foot care, as well as advice and education for patients, relatives, and other healthcare providers.

Qualifications

The assignment involves a great deal of personal responsibility and requires that you, as a medical foot care therapist, have a good ability to work independently. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a trained medical foot therapist or podiatrist.
  • Has a background as a nursing assistant or nurse.
  • Has experience working with diabetic patients (meritorious).
  • Is flexible, committed, and has a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Has good collaboration skills and wants to be involved in the development of the clinic.
